CRY-RDU started a new program in the triangle area in 2003 to
instill a sense of giving in children when they are young.
Under this program, the local pioneering participant was
Master Rohan Venkatraman who donated all gifts on the occasion of his first
birthday during March 2003 to fund CRY’s projects. Nearly $500 were
raised by Master Rohan and CRYRDU thanks Rohan’s parents
Uma and Ravi Venkatraman who came forward with this generous gesture
to help further CRY’s mission.
